Setting up your meeting area can be accomplished in a few different ways.  You can signup for our shared server or have a custom one built for you using your domain name or ours.

Shared setup

After you signup for service and are verified you will get an encrypted eMail with your username and password.  Simply follow the link in the eMail or just go to https://evc.doctorsarea.com/ and start a new session by entering a suggested cryptic room name and clicking GO.  You will then be prompted to allow the use of your camera and microphone.  You will then be waiting for a host.  Click on I am the host and enter your username and password.  In the lower right corner, you can then assign a password and share the link as desired.

Private server setup

We create a private instance at something like https://yourname.doctorsarea.com/ and it works the same as the shared system.  Just make a room, login, and share the link and optional password with other participants.

Your domain name setup

We create a private instance using your domain name at something like https://yourchoice.yourdomainname/ and it works the same as the shared system.  Just make a room, login, and share the link and optional password with other participants.

If you are using your domain name you will need to add the following A records to your DNS settings.

Create a A record for evc, guest.evc, jirecon.evc, callcontrol.evc, focus.evc, conference.evc, auth.evc, jitsi-videobridge.evc, and jitsi-meet.evc to point to the IP number we provide you with.

That’s it’s and you’re ready to start seeing patients.

We do not enforce time or participant limits. Bandwidth is monitored and could become billable depending on usage.
